Barn Owl Field Biology Kit

Weird science straight from the owl's mouth! Pellets are a natural teaching tool - a fantastic example of the food chain, the principles of ecology, animal structure and function, skeletal anatomy, and natural history! Barn owl pellets are balls of fur or feathers that contain bones and teeth of owl prey. They measures 1-1/2" long or greater in size, with the average size being 2-1/2 to 3-1/2" long. They are heat sterilized and individually wrapped in foil. Kit contains three owl pellets, an illustrated 12-page study guide, plastic forceps and a magnifying lens with holder. Great from kindergarten to the collegiate level.
