Gray Tones Soft Pastels
White Drawing Paper
Explore monochromatic tones and shading as you create a mountain range.
Steps
- Step 1Tear a piece of paper into long strips making a jagged "mountain" design.
- Step 2Place one of the torn strips a few inches below the top of a second piece of paper. Shade the portion of the paper above the torn strip with the lightest color pastel. Repeat this process, adding a new layer every inch or so and shading with the next darkest pastel until the paper is covered.
