General Shipping Information
To keep prices low, we require a minimum order of $25.00.
Currently we ship Internet orders only within the Continental US.
No international deliveries are available. Shipment is dock
to dock. Most smaller orders will be shipped via FedEx Ground
or UPS. If your order must ship to a P.O. Box, APO, or FPO, actual
shipping charges will be added to your order, including Priority
Mail postage, insurance, and delivery confirmation (This is an estimated
20% of your order). Larger orders containing heavy items will
usually be shipped via truck freight. If you have a large
order and require FedEx or UPS delivery, and it is more expensive
than truck freight, you will need to pay the difference. Special
handling, such as a lift gate, is available at your expense.
All Ground and Express delivery services will be delivered without
signature. Delivery Signature service is available upon request
for an additional fee.
Regardless of shipping method, most items ship from our warehouse
within 48 (business) hours of the time your order has been placed.
If you have chosen standard shipping, our preferred carrier is FedEx
Ground. Most packages are delivered within six business days from
the time your order has left our warehouse. Express delivery approximations
are estimated from the time your merchandise leaves our warehouse.
Please note that FedEx standard ground and express delivery is not
available on weekends (except some residential areas) or observed
holidays; however, upon request, Saturday delivery may be available
for an extra fee.
Other Shipping Options
We offer custom shipping options for orders shipping to the following
locations: Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Canada. Call 1-800-322-3247,
8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday Eastern Time to arrange for shipment
of your order.
Who Can Receive FREE Shipping?
We will pay delivery charges for orders of $250.00 or more to states
east of the Rocky Mountains. Orders from AZ, CA, ID, MT, NM,
NV, OR, UT, WA and WY must be over $750 for free delivery.
Orders will be shipped via our preferred carrier (UPS or FedEx
Ground). If your order requires shipment via USPS or by truck
freight and shipping charges are higher than with our preferred
carrier, you must pay the difference. Free delivery is not
available outside the continental United States.
Items That Do Not Qualify For Free Shipping
Ceramic Clay
If your order total is $250* or more, and you have purchased
ceramic clay, Mexican clay, Marblex, Stonex, slips, or plaster of
Paris weighing 25 lbs. or more, shipping and handling charges will
be added to your order according to the schedule listed below. In
addition, these items do not count toward your $250 total order
for free delivery.

Truck Freight
These Items Must Be Shipped Truck Freight
and Do Not Qualify For Free Shipping:
- Kilns
- Reams of 24x36" Paper
- Equipment and Furniture, Such As Markerboards, Chalkboards,
Printing Presses, and Metal Racks Which Cannot Ship UPS or FedEx
Ground
These items do not count toward your $250.00 total order for free
delivery. Minimum freight rates range from $50.00 to $100.00.
You will be charged the actual freight cost for these items.
We will notify you if the difference between your estimated shipping
and the actual shipping charge is greater than $10.00.
What are my delivery costs if my order
does not qualify for Free Shipping?
If you are ordering ceramic clay, please refer to the schedule
listed above for your shipping and handling costs.
Actual shipping charges will be added to purchases made on open account.
This will usually amount to approximately 10%-15% depending on the
weight and size. Our minimum shipping charge is $5.95.
For orders prepaid by charge card, personal check or money order,
please add estimated shipping and handling charges. Within
the Continental United States: Add 10% of your order total.
$5.95 minimum shipping and handling charge. We will notify you if
the actual shipping charge is more than $10.00 above the estimated
shipping charge.
