United Art and Education, Inc. will open its fifth retail super store on June 18, 2001, in Dayton, Ohio. The retail location offers teachers and fine artists a selection of products, featuring over 22,000 items. The 16,000 square foot facility is Ohio’s largest teacher store providing teacher resources, learning aids for children and art supplies for all ages.

“United brings the one-stop shopping experience to teachers in the Dayton area,” says David Keith, Director of Retail Operations. “We offer the very latest to our customers with new products, as well as a great selection of basics. We believe that the customer will appreciate a strong merchandise mix and competitive prices tied together with great customer service.”

The store Grand Opening is planned during United’s 11th Annual Back-to-School sale in late July. Located at 799 Lyons Road in Centerville, the store is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and noon to 5 pm on Sunday. June 18 through July 20, customers may register to win a $200.00 shopping spree.

“There is no place with a wider range of supplies for elementary and Pre-K classroom teachers. Many of these products work equally well for parents, home schoolers, and other programs that work with kids,” says Mike Gugel, Vice President of United Art and Education. “We also offer a full art materials store for fine artists,” as well as art supplies for teachers and students in grades K-12 and college.

United Art and Education has retail locations in Columbus, OH, Fort Wayne, IN, and Indianapolis, IN. Corporate headquarters and catalog operations are located in Fort Wayne, IN.
