Time: 1 Class Period
Difficulty: Easy
Cleanup: Soap & Water

Materials:
Washable Markers
Dura-Lar Wet Media Film
Fine Mist Spray Bottle
Brayer (optional)

Create a colorful monoprint inspired by Picasso's Bouquet of Peace Flowers.

Steps

  • Step 1
Using washable markers, draw your flower design onto the wet media film sheet. Optional: Draw your flowers onto a blank sheet of mixed media paper, then place the wet media film over the top and copy with markers.

  • Step 2
Spritz a fine mist of water on a blank sheet of mixed media paper. Ensure the paper is damp, but not dripping wet.

  • Step 3
Gently lay down your mixed media paper over the top of your wet media film. Using your hands or a brayer, apply pressure over the paper. Once you feel like you have rubbed over the entire piece, peel the paper back to reveal your monoprint.
