Step 1: Look at various works by the artist Mondrian.
Step 2: Start your modern art by placing two colored tape rectangles in a balanced design.
Step 3: Add black lines, they should compliment the balance of the color boxes.
Step 4: Take the colored tape and add accent lines to complete your Mondrain design.
