Step 1: Choose a geometric pattern.
Step 2: Enlarge the pattern to desired size using a copy machine or opaque projector.
Step 3: Place the graphite paper on top of the white backing sheet of the cling vinyl and trace the pattern.
Step 4: Repeat Step 3 with each additional color of cling vinyl in your pattern.
Step 5: Cut pieces out of each color of cling vinyl. Try to be as precise as possible when cutting on the traced lines.
Step 6: Peel off the backing of each pattern piece. Have fun combining pieces in various designs and color combinations.
Optional Tip 1: Explore Matisse cut-paper patterns by cutting vinyl in Matisse-like shapes.
Optional Tip 2: Leave backing on clear sheet and use as a base for cling pattern games.
