| United Art and Education has teamed up with the Fort Wayne Children's
Zoo to offer extra incentives to Northeast Indiana educators and Zoo
members! If you are a teacher, or simply a Zoo enthusiast, check out
the fantastic resources available from the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo
and United Art and Education. Ft. Wayne Children's Zoo School Programs Guide Teachers interested in planning a field trip to The Fort Wayne Children's Zoo will find all the information they need in the Zoo's School Programs Guide, including: • Information on group rates and ticket purchase. • Field trip and lesson plan tips. • Educator resources, from the Zoo, that meet Indiana Academic Standards for Science, Math, Language Arts, and Social Studies. • Descriptions of additional zoo programs available for students; at the zoo or in your classroom. • Coupon for use at United Art and Education, where you'll find teacher resources, games, puzzles, incentives, classroom decorations and more that will enhance all your animal-themed lesson plans! All teachers and paid professional school staff members are now admitted free when accompanying students on a field trip. Zoo Activity Packets (ZAP) Teachers can find wonderful ideas and resources for pre-visit, post-visit and at-the-zoo activities inside "Zoo Activity Packets," sponsored by United Art and Education. ZAPs feature topics like "The Australian Adventure," "Indiana Family Farm," and "Fur, Feathers and Scales," each designed for a specific grade level.
