Possum is kind of like Yahtzee - but with words! Players use six dice to spell out words and earn points by filling categories on their scorecards. The categories are arranged by parts of speech: players make nouns, verbs and adjectives, using 3, 4 or 5 letters. They also try to make 5- and 6-letter words of any part of speech, plus, earn extra points for using less common letters in their words. In addition, players can have fun by making up one word - a POSSUM word - as long as they can use it in a sentence and name its part of speech in that sentence. The player with the most points on their scorecard at the end of the game wins. Comes with an instruction sheet, 6 letter dice and 100 scorecards. For 2-6 players, ages 8 and up.
