Watercolor Paper
Tempera Paint
Crayola Tempera Mixing Mediums
Paint Brush
Construction Paper (To Use As A Blotter)



Make a blot painting that is inspired by Claude Monet's water lily paintings!


Steps

  • Step 1
    Mix Texture It! with colors that resemble water, such as blue and green. Generously paint background. To create highlights, add dabs of Glitter It! and Pearl It! while paint is wet. Press a piece of construction paper onto the painting to blot the paint. Pull the paper off of the painting to give it a rippled water-effect. Repeat if necessary to achieve desired effect.
  • Step 2
    Paint water lilies on top of the painting. Highlight the flowers with Glitter It!
