- Step 1First, mix three parts clear glue to one part water in a plastic bowl. Then, tear tissue paper shapes, brush a layer of glue onto canvas and arrange tissue paper.
- Step 2Continue to tear tissue paper shapes, adding layers of glue and tissue. Be sure to coat the tissue generously with the glue mixture.
- Step 3Create additional layers in coordinating and contrasting colors of tissue until design is completed. Allow collage to thoroughly dry.
