  • Step 1
Cut off the bottom half of a plastic water bottle, about 4" down from the cap. Save the top half, including the cap, and recycle the bottom half.
  • Step 2
Use a sharpie to draw eyes, a nose and a large mouth.
  • Step 3
Using scissors or a craft knife, cut out the mouth hole.
  • Step 4
Use about 2 oz. of Model Magic for each head. Save 1/3 for the eyes, nose and ears. Stretch out the remainder into a flat pancake and wrap it around the bottle, being careful not to cover the mouth or top opening.
  • Step 5
Form lips around the mouth opening.
  • Step 6
Add extra Model Magic around the bottle cap to form a base, so the head can stand on its own.
  • Step 7
Attach ears, eyes and a nose. Allow head to dry for about 3 days before painting.
  • Step 8
Paint the head with Americana Gloss Enamels to seal it.
  • Step 9
Create slime by following this recipe.
    4 oz. (1/2 cup) glue
    Acrylic Paints or Dyes

In a bowl or measuring cup, mix glue with 1/2 cup water. Add your choice of acrylic paint or dye and stir.
In a separate bowl or measuring cup, mix 1/2 to 1 teaspoon Borax with 1 cup of water.
Pour glue mixture into Borax/water mixture and stir to make slime.
See our YouTube video for a demonstration, plus ideas for different colors and effects!
  • Step 10
Once the enamel has dried, pour your slime into the top of the head and watch it ooze! Store slime in an air-tight container when finished.
