Steps
- Step 1With a permanent marker, draw a design on to a 4x6" Soft-Kut Printing Block. Consider that your design will be cut into different sections, each printed with a different color of ink.
- Step 2Use an X-Acto Knife to cut the design into the different color sections of the print.
- Step 3Using the Linozips, carve out the design from the Soft-Kut block.
- Step 4In separate mixing trays, roll out different colors of ink. In this example, there are three.
- Step 5Ink each section a different color. Before the ink dries, put the pieces together, inked sides up.
- Step 6Using a rubbing stick or baren, print your design onto a piece of construction paper.
- Step 7The color of the paper becomes the fourth color in your print; in this example it is the fish body.
- Optional Tip 1Make a stamp print by printing the parts separately.
