School Zone Beginning Reading Workbook

Beginning Reading will introduce your child to skills that will make learning to read more fun. The beginning of the book focuses on learning how to sound out words. Once the child understands how to sound out words they become more confident readers and spellers. As the workbook progresses, the activities vary to include comprehension, perceptual, and vocabulary skills. Skills include: Short and Long Vowel Sounds, Rhyming Words, Categorizing, Inference, Main Idea, and Word Recognition. Grades 1-2. 64 pages.
