Felt Finger Puppets Project

Craft Felt in assorted colors
Fabric Glue
Wiggle Eyes
Scissors



Use felt to create your own finger puppets!

Steps

  • Step 1
    To make the lion puppet, cut out a square piece of felt that measures approximately 4x4". Glue two edges together with fabric glue. Round the top off with scissors. Glue rounded top shut.
  • Step 2
    Cut out felt pieces to create a head and face, then glue the pieces together. Cut out a felt mane.
  • Step 3
    Next, glue the head onto the mane and then glue the mane onto the body. Pinch felt to add dimension.
  • Step 4
    Cut out and glue together a felt tail and legs.
  • Step 5
    Glue the tail and legs onto the body. Attach some wiggle eyes to finish. Let the finger puppet dry completely before using. Now you are ready to make more animals—be creative!
