Steps
- Step 1Look at various works by the artist Jackson Pollock. He was famous for his action paintings.
- Step 2Distribute watercolors into coordinating plastic painting bowls, or use a muffin tin palette. Cut several 6" lengths of yarn, at least one for each different color of paint.
- Step 3Dip yarn into watercolor and drag across the paper. Use paint pipettes to drip colors, or bellows to splatter colors, if desired.
- Step 4Repeat with as many colors as you want.
- Step 5Try using metallic, fluorescent, and other types of colors, too.
