Step 1Using Chromacryl Students' Neon Acrylic, paint 18 straws; 3 each of all 6 colors. Some colors may require more than one coat.
Step 2Paint a 6" square of chipboard with black paint. Once paint is dry, cut straws to different lengths and glue the first layer of your design on to the chipboard. Using a high quality glue like Aleene's Tacky Glue will help.
Step 3Glue more straws on top of the first layer.
Step 4Continue adding more layers as desired to finish the 3D sculpture.
