Use acrylics & oil pastels to create a leaf project inspired by the artist Georgia O'Keeffe. This project also has an instructional video available!

Steps

• 
  Step 1
  Choose a leaf stencil and place it on a piece of white paper. Our example uses mixed media paper. Use acrylic paints to sponge a pattern on the stencil.



• 
  Step 2
  Use oil pastels to draw curvy lines in the background in the style of Georgia O’Keeffe.



• 
  Step 3
  Establish your composition and pattern.



• 
  Step 4
  Add highlights and details with lighter and darker colors of oil pastels.
