Practice quilling techniques and decorate papier mache boxes!
Steps
Step 1Paint your papier mache box with acrylic paint.
Step 2Choose desired paper color and cut the quilling strip to appropriate length with scissors. Insert paper between prongs and twirl around the quilling tool until entire strip is used.
Step 3Form rolled paper into desired shape with your fingers. Adhere end of the strip to the side of the shape with Tacky Glue.
Step 4Use a toothpick, paper clip or paint brush to apply glue to quilled shape and adhere shape to box.
Step 5Repeat Steps 2-4 until the top of the box is entirely covered. Sides may also be decorated!
