Create a sculpture with wire, and cover with sculptamold!
Steps
- Step 1With dark annealed wire, form the base and main support of the sculpture.
- Step 2To create the base, thoroughly mix together 2 cups Sculptamold with 1 cup of water and 3 TBSP of powdered tempera paint. (It is best to mix small batches at a time, because the Sculptamold sets in around 15-20 minutes.).
- Step 3Use the Sculptamold mixture to cover the wire base, leave the support wires uncovered. With modeling tools, sculpt desired texture into the Sculptamold.
- Step 4After the Sculptamold sets up on the base, continue to form the wire sculpture.
- Step 5Create additional Sculptamold and powdered tempera mixtures in desired colors and apply to sculpture to complete.
- Optional Tip 1Use your imagination for additional sculpture ideas.
