Steps
- Step 1Use extra-heavy, 16-gauge wire to create the front and side profiles for your sculpture. You can use a variety of lengths of wire and wire tools for any step as needed. Drill holes in a painted wooden plaque and glue the wire into the holes.
- Step 2Use medium-weight 18-gauge wire to add fins, an eye and start to shape the body.
- Step 3Use light-weight 20-gauge wire to add additional details to the body and fins. If desired, add some leaves and details to the bottom of the sculpture.
