Work on your marbling technique while making these 3-D marbled fish. This project also has an instructional video available!
Steps
Step 1Visit our YouTube channel, UnitedArtandEd, for complete marbling and project instructions.
Step 2Cut fish body and fin shapes out of the marbled papers with scissors. Students may wish to trade marble scraps to add variety to their fish.
Step 3Arrange and glue the marbled fish body to a piece of blue construction paper. Make sure not to glue the body flat - glue only at the ends, with the middle curved up for a 3-D look. Attach fins and tail by the edge only, crease and shape to give a 3-D flair. Apply a wiggle eye to each fish with glue.
