Materials:

Soft Pastels

Velour Craft Paper

Scissors

Glue

Use velour paper and soft pastels to create a collage! This project also has an instructional video available!

Step 1
Students should develop an idea for a collage.
Step 2
Let students choose their own Velour Paper colors and then sketch and color their collage components onto the Velour Paper.
Step 3
Cut out collage components and glue onto a background sheet of Velour Paper.
Step 4
Add any extra pastel highlights to the background paper.
Optional Tip 1
Use oil pastels as a different media.
Optional Tip 2
Add glitter, sequins or other metallic embellishments for an exciting effect.
