Quality and dependability in a large capacity kiln. Great for both high- and low-firing. Kanthal A-1 element wire is pinned inside premium, 3" extra-thick, refractory firebricks to ensure long element life, improved insulation and better temperature control. Construction design permits easy brick and element replacement. Features AMACO's state-of-the-art Select Fire control for convenient, efficient firings. The EX-381SF offers an 8.1 cubic foot firing chamber that is 28" in diameter by 22" high. The exterior measures 40-1/2" wide, 34" deep and 36" high. EZ-Lift lid has a heavy duty spring loaded hinge that provides effortless opening and closing. The maximum firing temperature is Cone 8 (2320 degrees F). UL and cUL list for electrical safety. Single phase, 208 volts, 48.0 amps. Includes a 2-year, limited manufacturer's warranty. Does not qualify for free shipping and ships truck freight; shipping weight is 365 lbs.
