Mayco Stoneware Terracotta Engobe Pint

Engobes are a great option for those who want the look of other clay bodies but don't want to add another clay to their studio. With only two coats, this engobe can transform a red or white clay body into a terracotta-colored piece. For best results, stir well before use. Use a soft fan brush to apply 2-3 coats to wet clay, greenware or soft fired, Cone 04 bisque. Allow to dry between each coat. Fires to a matte finish. If desired, apply 2-3 coats of another glaze on top; engobes will affect glaze results when used as a base. Fire to preferred temperature; Cone 5-10. Pint of terracotta. AP Seal.
