Standard red and blue ruling on nice, white newsprint paper. Ruling is designed to conform to both Zaner-Bloser (ZB) grade 1 and D'Nealian grade K writing styles. Sheets feature space for children to write and illustrate. Each horizontal, 12x9" sheet offers 4-1/4" of picture space at the top. The bottom is 5/8" ruled with a blue headline and red baseline, plus 5/16" dotted midline and 5/16" descender space. Horizontal. Ream has 500 sheets.
