Here's a different way to use linoleum blocks! Create 4-color monoprints using a brayer and block ink. This project also has an instructional video available!

- Step 1You will need one brayer, one mixing tray and one linoleum block for each color. Roll one color of block printing ink evenly onto a brayer. Using the inked brayer, cover one entire 4x6" linoleum block with ink.
- Step 2Tear or cut out a 6x8" sheet of block printing paper. Place the inked block on top of the paper.
- Step 3Holding the sides of the block, flip the block over with the paper still attached. Draw on the paper using your finger, a blunt modeling tool or the handle end of a paint brush.
- Step 4Repeat steps 1-3 with each additional color. Ensure accurate color registration by aligning the inked block on the paper, pressing down lightly and flipping it over to print additional colors.
