Use chenille stems and beads to create a variety of unique bracelets! This project also has an instructional video available!

Steps

  • Single-Stem Bracelet
Choose a chenille stem and several pony beads. Add three beads to the chenille stem. Next, bend the stem in a diagonal direction, add a bead to the bent corner. Repeat 10 times. Finish with three beads. Create a loop at one end of the stem so the bracelet can be fastened.
  • 2-Stem Bracelet
Choose two chenille stems and several pony beads. String seven beads on each stem, roughly in the center. Twist the two stems together on both sides of the beads, making a circle with the beads. Add one bead to both stems on either side of the circle, then continue twisting each side. Finish by creating a loop at one end so the bracelet can be fastened.
  • 3-Stem Bracelet
Choose three chenille stems and several pony beads. Add one bead to all three stems, then add one bead to the center stem. Repeat this pattern as many times as you like, ending with one bead on all three stems. Twist any remaining ends together. Finish by creating a loop at one end, so the bracelet can be fastened.
  • 4-Stem Bracelet
Choose four chenille stems and your choice of pony beads. Find the center of the stems by bending them in half; then unbend and lay in front of you in four horizontal "rows." String one bead on the middle two rows at the same time, so that it rests in the center spot of both rows. Next, to the right of the center bead, string one bead on the top two rows and another bead on the bottom two rows. To the left of the center bead, string one bead on the
top two rows, and another on the bottom two rows. Repeat this pattern, alternating beads in the center and top/bottom rows as many times as you wish. Twist the remaining ends together on both sides. Finish by creating a loop at one end so the bracelet can be fastened.
