Draw an image on muslin with pastel dye sticks, then dye the fabric to create a batik image! This project also has an instructional video available!

- Step 1Use a dark colored marker to draw your image on a white piece of 8-1/2 x 11" or 9x12" paper.
- Step 2Cut a 12” square of muslin. Place your image behind the muslin and trace with desired colors of Fabric Fun Pastel Dye Sticks. Place a piece of newsprint on top of the muslin and iron to heat-set the pastels.
- Step 3Dye muslin according to package directions. The image drawn with the Dye Sticks will act as a resist.
